Bayandor Productivity Award
In line with the implementation of Article 79 of the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran, approved in 2010, its executive regulations, and the Comprehensive National Productivity Program approved in 2015, the Bayandar National Productivity Award has been established based on Resolution No. 197/03/4000/ص dated April 23, 2024, by the esteemed Board of Directors of the Iranian Shipping and Related Services Association. Coordinated with the Iranian National Productivity Organization and other relevant entities, this award aims to promote a culture of productivity and enhance the efficiency of private sector enterprises in the maritime transportation sector and related maritime services and industries.
The implementation of this award focuses on the following objectives in the fields of shipping, logistics, port services, maritime services, and related industries across the country:

- Increasing public awareness of the importance of productivity and quality, and the necessity of greater attention to these aspects at the societal level.
- Moving towards a total quality management system by adopting a scientific methodology.
- Enabling systematic self-assessment by organizations to identify strengths and areas for improvement, focusing on quality and productivity in work processes.
- Providing the opportunity for comparison with other companies in terms of approaches and performance indicators.
- Identifying and promoting successful organizational achievements in improving productivity and quality, and sharing these with other organizations for benchmarking and disseminating best practices through media and award ceremonies.
- Creating motivation for competition among organizations to achieve continuous improvement in productivity across services and processes.

Gholam Ali Bayandor (born December 14, 1898 – martyred on August 25, 1941) was an admiral in the Iranian Navy and a recipient of the Order of Zolfaghar.
